Virginia "Ginny" Nacy | Toddler's Workshop Child Care Center
Virginia "Ginny" Nacy developed the Toddler's Workshop Child Care Center in July 1987.
Since then, the program has grown from a licensed capacity of 45 children to 316 in two adjacent buildings. It's received national accreditation since 1993. Nacy is a certified elementary teacher with ten years of public school experience. In addition she holds a Master's Degree in Reading Education. Her experiences, plus research of best practices from NAEYC, (National Association for the Education of Young Children) and use of New York State standards for preschool and kindergarten have all been instrumental in the development of the Toddler's Workshop Curriculum. Nacy has also held a number of offices in local child care organizations and continues to be involved in the larger child care community to ensure that most current trends and research are integrated into the Toddler's Workshop curriculum. She believes that children learn best through play. www.toddlers-workshop.com
