We highlight a different nonprofit in our community each week and through the month of February our spotlight is on Make a Wish of Western NY.Through your donations, Make A Wish fulfills the hopes and dreams of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Mary Jones says the oganization relies on contributions to help these children and receives no govenment funding. Dr. Andolina is a referral source for the agency and makes sure to refer children who are medically-eligible for having a wish granted. And while doctors and medicine heal bodies, Make-A-Wish can heal souls. The annual gala and largest fundraiser is March 15 at Locust Hill Country Club. Check out the website for tickets.
